About Me

Hi! I'm Dana.

I'm an expert at functional learning. I learn and build things that are 'good enough' with extremely limited resources and time. Like this website. It's pretty good, right? Took me about thirty minutes and costs $2 a month to host.

I write here to share with you guides to doing difficult things with limited or no resources. See my start here page for a few favourites.

I write about travel, language, fitness and diet on Discover Discomfort. Go there for things like guide on how to learn Arabic or Kung Fu in 30 days.

I also blog at The Vanity Metric, a satirical look at startup and workplace culture.
